Anthony may not have grown up in New York City – but he's no stranger to the Big Apple, having grown up nearby in New Jersey. 

He started his news career in 1999 as a general assignment reporter at WETM-TV, the NBC affiliate in Elmira, New York. One year later he was offered a job at NY1's sister station in Rochester, NY where he worked as an anchor and reporter.

On September 11, 2001, he was sent to New York City to cover the attack on the World Trade Center, and helped contribute stories to NY1 during that month. Anthony officially joined NY1 in 2007 and has served in a variety of roles, primarily anchoring news from Staten Island.

Anthony has been honored by several organizations for his work.  In 2016, he was ranked as one of Staten Island’s most influential people by City and State Media. 

Anthony lives on Staten Island and is a graduate of Ithaca College's Park School of Communications. His hobbies include horse racing, dining out and traveling.
