Hit-And-Run Driver Injures Pedestrian On Service Road In Queens

Police were searching Saturday for the driver who hit and injured a 29-year-old man in the Kew Gardens Hills section of Queens early that morning and then fled the scene.

Police say the car was headed east on the Grand Central Service Road near Union Turnpike around 2 a.m. when it hit the Queens resident.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
