A Queens man has been convicted of the July 2010 murders of his pregnant girlfriend and her son.
The Queens District Attorney said Jimmy Humphrey, 26, of Springfield Gardens was convicted Thursday of murder, arson, reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.
Authorities said he strangled Linda Anderson, 25, who was seven months pregnant with his child.
They say Anderson's 2-year-old son was killed in the fire Humphrey set to cover up the crime.
Sentencing has been set for March 6.
Humphrey faces up to 50 years to life in prison.
