Two planes were forced to return to John F. Kennedy International Airport shortly after takeoff over the weekend because of bird strikes.
A JetBlue flight heading to the Dominican Republic Saturday afternoon returned after hitting some birds.
The Federal Aviation Administration says a second JetBlue plane hit a bird Sunday morning after it took off for the Bahamas.
JetBlue tells the New York Post it was not a direct hit, but the plane returned to the airport as a precaution.
