NY1 VIDEO: Volunteer firefighters from Newtown, Conn. helped recovery efforts in the Rockaways following Hurricane Sandy. Now that the Connecticut town is coping with its own tragic school shooting, a volunteer firefighter from Rockaway Point and a displaced Breezy Point resident have collected more than 1,000 teddy bears for that community.
