Rockaway Park FEMA Center Closed Permanently
FEMA has closed its recovery center in Rockaway Park.
The facility in the Waldbaum's parking lot on Beach Channel Drive served the community since November 2 and helped more than 5,600 residents.
There are still five other recovery centers in Queens.
