The Port Authority Police Department say that tech-savvy thieves at John F. Kennedy International Airport made off with a shipment of Apple iPad Minis in one of the airport's cargo buildings late Monday night.

Port Authority police said about $1.5 million worth of the tablets were stolen.

The iPads had just arrived at the airport, according to investigators.

Investigators, suspecting an inside job, say they are now questioning airport workers.

No arrests have been made.
