Police have arrested a Brooklyn man and charged him with sexual assaults on young girls in the laundry room of a Queens apartment building.
Queens District Attorney Richard Brown says Mario Lopez, 52, entered a building on Broadway in Jackson Heights on Monday night and sexually abused a 4-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl.
Lopez now faces two charges each of sex abuse, luring a child, endangering the welfare of a child and burglary.
