Police Look For Alleged Queens Smartphone Robber

Police are looking for the man they say robbed several women of their smartphones in Queens.
They say he struck twice in Astoria, first on the night of Friday, Sept. 14 and then again the following day.
In each case, he allegedly approached a woman and pulled a knife on her before punching her in the face and running off with her iPhone.
Police say he struck a third time this past Monday in Long Island City.
In that case, they say he approached two women and said he had a gun.
They say he took an iPhone and a Galaxy before running away.
