Police are asking for help in finding a man whom they allege slashed a worker at a Brooklyn bodega after he was refused the sale of a beer.

Investigators say the man slashed a clerk's face at a store near the corner of Broadway and Gates Avenue in Bushwick on Thursday morning.

Police say the man left the store after being denied the beer, came back and cut the clerk's face with a sharp object, then fled the scene.

The clerk needed stitches and is expected to recover.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
