The New York State Department of Education is out with a scathing report on Jamaica High School.

The report says two special education teachers are uncertified, there are no honors or SAT prep courses, and science and math classes have been cut.

Jamaica High School is one of the schools being phased out over the next few years because of underachievement.

The school claims the Department of Education is letting it bleed to death, with fewer resources to offer remaining students.

The city says Jamaica High is partnering with nearby Gateway High School to expand student options.
