Police collected more than 50 weapons during a gun buyback in Queens Saturday.

The New York City Police Department said 55 weapons were turned in at St. Benedict the Moor Church in Jamaica, including 19 semi-automatic handguns.

Anyone who turned in a handgun received a $200 bank card, no questions asked; $20 was given for each rifle and shotgun.

The gun buy back was a partnership between the Queens Borough President's office and the NYPD.

Borough President Helen Marshall allocated $50,000 in discretionary funds to support the program.

Since the program’s inception, nearly 7,700 weapons have been recovered.
