Two men were arrested after more than eight kilograms of cocaine were seized from a home in Jackson Heights, Queens last month.

Officials say the drugs were found in an apartment on 81st Street month during an investigation by state police.

The alleged drug traffickers, Wilmar Florez-Jimenez, 30, and Alvaro Montoya, 51, have been arraigned on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police say most of the cocaine was hidden in a secret compartment inside a dresser and inside of an oven.

Packing equipment, including grinders, baggies and razors, was found scattered throughout the unit and $68,000 in cash was also found.

Both men face up to 20 years in prison, but officials say they were offered a five-year plea deal.
