The "Son of Sam" serial killer David Berkowitz was denied parole once more on Monday.
The parole board determined his release would not be in the best interest of society, but the board did acknowledge Berkowitz's prison ministry and clean record behind bars.
Berkowitz has already served 35 years of his 25-to-life sentence.
The "Son of Sam" was convicted of killing six people and injuring several others after terrorizing the city back in 1976 and 1977.
He is eligible for another parole hearing in two years.
