NY1 VIDEO: The soon-to-be-opened new park at Queens Plaza will have plenty of greenery, bike lanes, and artist-designed benches, but city residents are encouraged to participate in a contest to come up with its name. The winner will be chosen by city representatives and local residents. The space cannot be named after living individuals or corporations, and online submissions will be accepted at nyc.gov until 5 p.m. on October 26.
