A city bus hit a motorized lift in Queens Monday night, causing a worker to fall to his death.
Police say Cesar Cepedes, 44, and a 28-year-old man were on the lift on Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica repairing lights on a Long Island Rail Road overpass.
Investigators say the bus clipped the lift, knocking both to the ground.
Cepedes was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The other man was also taken to the hospital, and there is no word on his condition.
Police say the bus driver remained on scene, and there is no criminality suspected.
