There's a new effort rolling out to help pull up the sagging pants of young people.
Starting Monday, more than a dozen city buses in Southeast Queens will begin displaying ads with the message "Raise your pants, Raise your image."
It's the latest move in the "Stop the Sag" campaign.
State Senate President Pro Tem Malcolm Smith pushed for the signs, after joining up with Brooklyn Senator Eric Adams.
"We want to make sure our young people understand there's a new coolness in town. And that new coolness is having your pants up," Smith said.
"Your coolness is not on trial. Your intelligence is on trial. It's not a way of life, it's a stumbling block," said Lance Feurtado of the King of Kings Foundation.
Adams launched the effort in his district, posting messages on billboards, and producing an online video.
He says the style is unkempt and degrading.
