NY1 VIDEO: As NY1 revisits its 20-year history, the station looks back at reporter Natasha Ghoneim's August 8, 2009 coverage as a small plane and a touring helicopter collided over the Hudson River.
NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Within three days of the crash, all nine bodies of those who died were recovered by divers. Three months later, the FAA announced more stringent regulations along the flight corridor above the Hudson including height separation of sightseeing aircraft from transportation flights.
