It's summer in the city and that means the Midsummer Night Swing is back at Lincoln Center.

One recent performance was the ABC&D of Boogie Woogie, a band put together by Rolling Stone drummer Charlie Watts.

Charlie told us a little bit about what it's like to swing versus packing a stadium.

"It's no difference, really," he says. "You've still got to do the same thing, start and finish but it's a little subtler because of their acoustic pianos virtually."

"You know, with the Stones we've grown from this to this blooming mega-stadium thing and you can play like this," he adds. "It's a bit more delicate, I suppose, is the only way I can put it."

One of the songs in Charlie's repertoire should be "I Don't Dance...Don't Ask Me!"

"I can't dance, much to my wife's displeasure," he says. "There's two things in our married life, which is quite long, that have never gone right, and that's dancing and she's always annoyed that I don't ride a horse."

Midsummer Night Swing is every Tuesday through Saturday now through July 14. To get on the dance floor and get a dance lesson is only $17.

Midsummer Night Swing has been in operation for 24 years. I'm not gonna tell you when I first started to come.

Let me tell you a little secret, just between you and me: You don't even have to buy a ticket. You can stand outside, listen to the music and dance the night away.
