Latin Musician Yomo Toro's Health Failing
Local Latin musician Yomo Toro's health is declining.
Toro's family says he's suffering from kidney failure but is too old and frail for a transplant.
Toro is a master cuatro player, which is a 10-string guitar-like instrument.
Over five decades, Toro has appeared on more than 150 albums and recorded 20 solo records.
He also hosted his own TV show in the late '60s and early '70s.
The family asked the public to respect their privacy but said they welcome any prayers or well wishes on Toro's Myspace page.
