The U.S. Open tennis tournament is hiring more than 700 temporary workers for its three-week long summer event in Flushing, Queens.
The positions, which include concession stand managers, cashiers and cooks, will last from August 25 to September 13.
It is part of efforts by the U.S. Open and city officials to create jobs locally.
