The Federal Emergency Management Agency is touting its progress in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
FEMA said that $2.4 billion in National Flood Insurance Program payments have been made to policyholders impacted by the storm.
More than $900 million was approved for individuals and households in FEMA grants.
More than $1 billion in Small Business Administration disaster loans were approved for homeowners, renters and businesses.
The agency also said it's removed 95 percent of the debris caused by the storm.
