A gun buyback in Jamaica, Queens took more than 500 weapons off the streets on Saturday.

Police say 245 revolvers, 168 semi-automatic pistols and several rifles and shotguns were among the weapons surrendered at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Working handguns were exchanged for $200 bank cards. Rifles, shotguns and BB guns were turned in for $20 with no questions asked.

Police say more than 8,200 weapons have been recovered since the city first launched its buyback program.
